How To Decorate Holiday Greenery

When you style greenery around your home, it enhances the space and really makes it come to life! This is especially true during the holidays, where greenery adds such a natural, festive feeling. From gorgeous faux wreaths to real lush garlands, here are our favourite ways to style greenery for the holidays.

Holiday tablescape

We love adding greenery to our holiday centerpiece. It’s simple but really makes a statement!

On a door frame

Hang fresh garland around a door frame with a few nails and for extra drama, mix in different types of greenery. We love adding in eucalyptus, which also smells incredible. Be aware that fresh garland will last approximately 2 weeks so it’s best to install it a week or so before the holidays. It also wilts faster around heat so try to keep fresh garland away from any heat source.

At the front door

A festive green wreath adorned with bells and ribbon is a beautiful way to greet your guests this holiday. It’s a bonus that this faux wreath from Studio McGee will look nice all year round- simply remove the bells and ribbon and it’ll work for all seasons.

Holiday mantel

Drape a fresh garland with mixed greenery over your mantel . We love adding a few pinecones and lots of candles. So cozy!

On the banister

This faux magnolia leaf garland looks clean and elegant. We love the ribbon embellishment which can also add structure to the garland and help hold it in place.

Create a festive vignette in an unexpected spot by hanging a wreath in a window.
