JUST A TOUCH OF PINK

As much as this year has been unsettling and unusual, we’d like to make note of something that’s happened that we are very much enjoying… Benjamin Moore selected pink (Pink!), specifically First Light, as their Color of the Year! You may have picked up on this already but if you haven’t, we love pink. It just makes us happy.
If you’re like us and find yourself drawn to blush tones, you may be thinking how can I subtly (or not so subtly, but we will stick to subtly for now) incorporate pink into my home? AMIS has six suggestions for you for incorporating pink so that it complements your existing décor and won’t cost you a fortune:
1. Paint One Wall, or a Door
Choose a room, then choose a wall, or if you want to be super hip choose a door! This might take you out of your comfort zone a bit but paint can instantly shift the mood of a room and make your surroundings feel fresh. A blush door might be just the mood booster you need in these quarantine times.
5. Art
There’s nothing like a good (and inexpensive) piece of art to introduce some pink into your décor and jazz up a room. From HomeSense to Minted, artwork featuring pink tones can easily be found for any price point. There are so many beautiful options right now that your toughest decision will be which pink artwork to choose!
In our opinion you can only make things better by adding pink to your home. Give it a try!
